How to improve Note 10 performance

Performance is the main thing demanded by smartphone users. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is one of the best devices in terms of performance. This device is powered by the Samsung Exynos 9825 processor which is very powerful and can handle multitasking with ease.

The phone generally comes with moderate settings that can be changed for better performance. If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and are looking for settings to enhance your device, then check out the content below on how to improve Note 10 performance. You can apply these to speed up and enhance your device's performance.

Restart your phone

If you need a boost in performance, the simplest way to achieve that is by restarting your phone. It will close a bunch of apps and processes that run in the background, and you’ll notice that your phone runs smoother and better.

Update your operating system and apps

The first thing you should do to improve the performance of your Note 10 is to regularly update the system software and apps. This will allow you to access the latest features offered on the Galaxy Note 10. It is important to update your operating system as new updates generally fix unwanted bugs that reduce your device performance. Regular updates keep you safe from security brisk. It is recommended to enable the "Auto download over Wi-Fi" by going to Settings > Software update to download the updates when there is an active Wi-Fi connection.

Also, head to the Play Store and tap on the hamburger icon. Then tap on My apps & games. Tap Update all. This way, you’ll update all your apps at once.

Enable Dolby Atmos

If you want to enhance the sound quality of your device, then it is recommended to enable Dolby Atmos. Dolby Atmos is a sound system technology that enhances the music listening experience when selected. It’s also great when you play games. Generally, Dolby Atmos is off on the Galaxy Note 10. You can enable it by following the given steps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on Sounds and vibration
  3. Tap on Sound quality and effects
  4. Then, enable the Dolby Atmos to auto.

Adjust screen resolution

If you want to enhance your battery life, then you can do it by lowering the screen resolution. Generally, the device is set up at FHD+ resolution with 2280 * 1080 pixels. If you want a higher graphics experience, which consumes more battery, you can switch your resolution to WQHD+ with 3040 * 1440 pixels. This resolution is the highest limit you can set on the Galaxy Note 10. There is one more resolution – HD+ resolution with 1520 * 720 pixels, which is battery efficient and can enhance your power more than FHD+ and WQHD+ resolution. You can also change the screen mode to get more graphic quality. You can select vivid screen mode, which allows you to control the warmth and cool of your display colors. But if you want realistic colors, you can stick to the natural screen mode. You can also use Night mode/ Dark Mode to enhance your device's battery life. Night mode can be enabled using the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on Display
  3. Tap on Night Mode/ Dark Moe by sliding the button or tapping the option

Enable High-Performance mode

There is an inbuilt high-performance mode on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, which you can try to enhance the performance. However, you cannot see any big difference by enabling it, but the company claims it works fine. To enable high-performance mode, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on Device care
  3. Select battery
  4. Tap on Power mode
  5. Select "High Performance" and click on the Apply button.

You can also use the power-saving modes to enhance performance by killing the background applications, thus saving battery life and reducing the stress on the chipset.
